Title: “Hot Sauce EP”
Label: Motor City Electro Company
Detroit’s Filthiest: DJ Nasty the King of Kings returns in 2005
with his newest recipe entitled “Hot Sauce”.This record
contains 6 ingredients that will keep the dance floors burning.
The record begins with “Rythmalism”; the first secret ingredient
is a throwback track reminiscing of the early 90’s house scene
in Detroit. A funky house cord over hard-hitting drums and booming percussions
is one that will definitely move bodies. The Second secret ingredient
entitled “ Sounds of the City” has another Detroit classic
feel. With soulful strings, seductive keys, and 4 x4 drum work; this
is going to be –taking you back in the day.
The third secret ingredient is a track entitled “Hurricane”,
containing massive 808 drums. When you flip the record over the Fourth
secret ingredient awaits you entitled “Mo Butta Blues”.
The track is in a league of its own, a seductive blend between Jazz
and Funk topped off with wah wah guitars and drum n’ bass rhythm’s.
The Fifth secret ingredient to the mix is “Footwork”, the
only vocal track on the release. This is strictly for the Jitters of
the world, with vocal chants stating “ footwork, gone hit that
footwork. This is going to be the newest jitting anthem. Last but not
least the release closes with “Down Low Accapella”. This
is strictly for the dj’s that like to blend accapella over beat,
DO IT UP DJ’s!!

Aaron Carl "21 Positions" EP
MCEC celebrates its 10th release with "21 Positions", featuring
renowned Detroit producer Aaron-Carl. The 6-track EP marks his official
ghettotech debut. While not abandoning his House roots, this record
fits easily into electro and soulful techno sets.
Side A presents "21 Positions" in 3 versions - clean, dirty
and instrumental. While the clean version is cheeky enough to entertain,
the dirty version sets it off! The instrumental is perfect for those
who like to play with a hard 808. (How nasty can YOU get?)
On the flip, we have "South Side 734" - a classic Detroit
style booty track that is sure to work in any DJ set. Probably the deepest
track on this EP, "For the Money" mixes moody techno chords
with a Kraftwerk-like electro groove. AC's vocal sample rides the track
perfectly, taking it even deeper. "Gold Digger's Theme" could
be best described as a continuation of AC's club hit, "No No."
(What you want? How much you got? No cash? No ass!) Need we say more?
Overall, this 6-track EP is a rock-solid force to be reckoned with.
DJ Nasty “Booby Trap” EP
One of Detroit’s hardest working ghetto producers, DJ Nasty switches
it up on his latest collection, the “Booby Trap” EP. This
time around, DJ Nasty focuses less on the raunchy rhymes that earned
him the title, “Detroit’s filthiest.”
The record starts with “King of Kings” – when the
first beat hits your chest, you already know you’re in for a hell
of a ride. “Clap Ya Hands” is another track destined for
dance floor stardom. This joint is addictive; from the infectious “stomp-clap”
rhythm to the “313-style” vocal chant. For even more fire
power, a “Clapstrumental” version is also included.
“Never Ending Boom” starts the B-side off proper. This
one’s definitely for the ladies! (“Rock that ass…
Work your body…”) Rounding out the EP are two tracks designed
to give Electro Funk a whole new meaning: “Cass Quarters”
and “Cass Quarters II.” For those who don’t know;
Cass Quarters is where the pimps, players and freaks TRULY come out
at night.
With “Booby Trap,” the message is crystal clear: Keep those
hands clapping -- and more importantly, keep those asses shaking! What
more could we ask for?

Detroit's DJ Nasty returns with another hit release that's
guaranteed to start a party. "Freaky Tails"- his latest 6-track
EP - offers something for everyone, and is guaranteed not to disappoint.
One look at the full-color Japanese animated label and you'll
know this is NOT your average ghetto record. Each of these 6 tracks
is a DJ-weapon in its own right. Did you expect anything less? If you
loved his last EP "Dirty Nursery Rhymes," get ready to be worked
all over again.
The first track -- "Directions" -- is an automatic crowd pleaser.
When the 808/909 hits you, don't be surprised at how quickly you start
to "bounce that… work that… freak that… shake
that…" "Funkde'fied" brings ghetto music to
another level - back to the days of Funkadelic, Parliament, afro-sporting
pimps and drop-top Cadillac's. If Bootsy Collins or George Clinton did
a ghetto track, it would sound something like this.

The hilarious vocals in "Nasty
Lil' Ho" guide you through this next dance floor filler. Strictly for the
players in the house!
Just when you thought it
was safe to take a quick break, DJ Nasty hits you hard with "Closet Freak"
- a smooth house rendition of Cee-Lo's hit with the same name. This smooth
ghetto-house instrumental is sure to cross over to new heights.
Ever wonder what the females
are thinking, while they're bumping and grinding in the club? "Finger Licking"
answers your question, and then some… A sexy female vocal rides this
beat; if you look around the dance floor, you'll notice all the ladies dancing
and singing along, letting the men know how much they like it!
Last but not least, DJ
Nasty hits us with "Blaze it Up". Simple as the children's song it
models after ("Happy and You Know It") - yet cleverly performed over a banging
4/4 beat and deep bassline. The crowd will definitely get hyped on this track.
DJ Nasty does it again, raising the bar for ghetto
music. Welcome to the next level.
